July is Quote of the Day Month, Just One Day Early

We are getting ready for a month for quotes. 
 I hereby declare July to be Quote-of-the-Day Month.

Here is a great quote from Sir Francis Drake:

Reminds me of the great Breton Fisherman's Prayer.
It's a prayer that sat on top of JFK's desk when he was President.

Dear God, be good to me;
The sea is so wide
and my boat is so small.

and remember that it is our confidence in God's love and power
that allows us to face the day unafraid.
